Change one line text box to multiple line text box in all templates to facilitate easier note drafting.
At the moment, the note field in a template is a single‑line input, so it only shows one line while you’re typing. There isn’t a setting to expand it into a multi‑line paragraph view and this is frustrating and limiting if more notes needed to be added or indeed one is reviewing the AI generated notes which at times can be repetitive. Can a multiline paragraph please be considered as an option?

Hi Colleen,
Thanks for raising this. You can already change a note field to a multi-line box. It’s set per question in the template rather than as one overall option. Sorry that our chat assistant told you on Monday there was no setting for this. That wasn’t right.
Every question in a template has a field type. Text gives a single line, which is what you’re seeing. Paragraph gives a larger box that wraps onto several lines, and you can drag its bottom corner to make it taller.
Step 1: Go to Account, then Content Management, then Forms. On the My Forms tab, click the pencil (Edit) on the template you use for your notes.
Step 2: Under the question that only shows one line, open the field type drop-down (it will say Text) and choose Paragraph. Do the same for any other Text questions you write notes in, then click Save at the bottom of the template.
New notes made with that template will then use the larger box, which also makes AI-drafted notes easier to read through. There’s more on field types in our help article, Creating a Treatment Note and Form Template: https://support.rehabguru.com/en/articles/9922628-creating-a-treatment-note-and-form-template
What isn’t there yet is a way to switch every field in every template in one go, so it’s a quick change per template for now. Would that cover what you need, or would you also like the box to grow automatically as the note gets longer?
