Insurance authorisations: Tracking appointments
Dear RG Team
Would it be possible to add a feature that tracks the sessions authorised by the insurance companies, to ensure we don’t exceed the limit? At the moment, I understand this has to be done manually.
Many thanks.

Hi Tracy, thanks for the suggestion. This isn’t something we have built in at the moment, so you’re right that keeping track of authorised sessions against an insurer’s limit has to be done manually for now.
It would help us scope it out if you could share a bit more about how you’d picture it working, for example would you want an alert once a client reaches their authorised number of sessions, or just a running count visible somewhere on their record?

Thank you for your message, Cloudia. In the system I have been using, I fill in the authorisation code into the first appointment as well as the number of sessions granted. Then each time I book the patient’s follow up, the system counts down the sessions left. I can email you screenshots if that would be useful?
