Opt-in email notifications for static form submissions, configurable per form
We would like an optional setting to send an email notification when someone submits a static form, with the option to turn notifications on or off separately for each form.
We use Rehab Guru for Calibre Physio and Rehab. Our public Initial Patient Enquiry form lets people tell our physiotherapist, Anna, briefly about their circumstances before she decides whether to invite them to book. We deliberately don’t offer new patients direct access to her appointment diary. Anna needs to know when an enquiry arrives so she can review it and contact the person about next steps.
At present, Anna did not receive a notification when we tested a submission. This means a new enquiry could go unnoticed and delay our response.
A per-form opt-in would let us enable alerts for the enquiry form without sending notifications for every form in the account. Ideally, the email would contain only a generic alert and a secure link to sign in and view the submission. It should not include the person’s symptoms, diagnosis, or other sensitive information in the email itself.

Hi Anna,
Thanks for setting this out so clearly, and for thinking about keeping sensitive details out of the email itself.
For now, these submissions are listed under Account, then Client Communication, then Form Responses, headed Unassigned responses. From there you can preview the answers and either assign the response to an existing client or click Create client for a new enquiry. It does mean checking that page rather than being told, so I know it isn’t what you’re after.
A per-form, opt-in alert with just a generic message and a secure link to sign in makes a lot of sense.
Two quick questions to help shape it:
Should the alert go to one named person per form, or to everyone on the team who can see that form?
Would you want an email for each submission as it arrives, or would a daily summary work?
