Search by Open Cases/Case Management

Feature Request

Could there be an option to search by open cases? As a way of checking on those patients who we may have seen a while ago but whose treatment was/is ongoing (or patients who have not booked back in and are wanting to self manage their ongoing rehab) so that we can remember to follow up with them? I think that could be a really helpful addition at some stage so that it enables us to follow up with those “forgotten” patients.

    Thanks for writing this up as a feature request Tom. It’s a good idea and my thoughts immediately turn to adding this to the side menu where we already have client filtering options.

    Do you think this would would work?

    Just a few additional questions to dive into the particulars for how this would work:

    1. Would this return ALL clients who have ANY open case?

    2. Do you need to bound the query with date/time information, i.e. “Show me Open Cases that have not had a prescription or note added since X”

      Thanks Simon, I think returning all clients with open cases would initially work but I guess could be a little overwhelming/not specific enough. So yes some additional filtering based around date/time would be helpful. For example like you say, open cases with no activity for x weeks/months. Or the ability to then sort those clients based on which cases have been open for the longest time without change/notes added etc.
